CROWTHER VOTES AGAINST INCREASED FEES FOR DESERET INDUSTRIES
Sentinel News Staff

Council member Wayne Crowther cast the lone dissenting vote against Harrisville City Ordinance #410, which passed 3 to 1. The ordinance increases business fees for counseling services. Meeting Attendees were not aware of any counseling services in the city except for the Deseret Industries, which was reported to do some counseling. Prior to the vote, Mr. Crowther questioned the need to create a special category for counseling services. Mr. Crowther stated that he voted no to City Ordinance #410 because he was against an increase in business permit fees for the Deseret Industries.
