Weber County has held several meetings and 3 public hearings to consider its 2010 budget. The budget plan as of December 1st, 2009 was for approximately 55 million dollars. The budget is essentially planned to remain the same as for 2009.
The County Commissioners authorized a $3,000 payment to Utah State University for a graduate study conducted by Mr. Hearst, a graduate student who evaluated population growth in Ogden Valley. The purpose was to see where growth can happen in regards to zoning, and as a zoning tool to update the Master Plan.
