North Ogden Planning Commission News
Sentinel News Staff

North Ogden Planning Commission met on November 18, 2009 to discuss Restrooms at North Ogden Park, Changes to the Lewis Peak PRUD Phase 1 Subdivision Plat, and a Boundary Line Adjustment on Parcels Located at approximately 3675 N. King Hill Drive.

North Ogden City Planning Commission is moving ahead on its part for restrooms for the North Ogden City Park.

The Planning Commission liked and approved the plan for Lewis Peak PRUD Phase1 Subdivision to reduce 5 lots to 4 lots by combining two of the lots.

After extensive consideration and communication between adjoining landowners with a vacant lot between them at approximately 3675 N King Hill Dr., it was decided that the lot could be split between the adjoining lots and the new halves connected to the neighboring two landowners by covenant as required by the City. Commission member Bruce Catanzaro expressed a concern that the division of the existing vacant lot would create 2 noncompliant lots (too small). Members of the City staff explained that the City (North Ogden) required a covenant connecting the new lots to the adjoining larger lots permanently for planning and zoning purposes.
