John Reynolds Farr West City Council Meeting

Mayor Jimmie Papageorge called the meeting to order at promptly at 7:00PM, all five City Council members were present. A report from the Planning Commission was made that they are reviewing city ordinances a section at a time after which the city attorney reviews for legality. When a sufficient number have been reviewed the council will vote to accept the revisions.
Two new business license applications were discussed, one a Solicitors Business for Alarm Security and the other a Home Occupation License for classic cars. There were questions about both; the applicants were not present so the council tabled the applications.
Council Members reported on assignments. There was discussion about the effect of an increase in fees for the Recreation Center that went into effect earlier this year. It may be too soon to determine the true impact of the fee increase.
