  About Us
Sentinel News Logo
The Sentinel News began publishing 4500 printed copies in October 1998 and has published as many as 33,000 copies per month. Printed copies are delivered directly to homes or are available on stands at various local businesses. Currently the Sentinel news publishes 14,000 every other month and has up-to date online local news information.

The Sentinel News arose out of an effort by publishers Reed and Mark Mackley and by members of Citizens for proper government to promote freedom and the US Constitution.

We consider the Constitution of the United States to be one of the greatest legal documents ever written by an earthly assembly because it acknowledges the laws of the Supreme Creator. Opposition to it started in the very beginning with the legalization of slavery - the very antitheses of freedom and liberty. Opposition to the Constitution comes in direct assaults, but more often it comes in the form of disregard. Disregard of the Constitution occurs in current events and at a local level and is not recognized by most people. Our objective is to help the community recognize and perceive the forces in our society's current events that build or tear down the constitutional benefits. We are convinced that the Constitution must be supported by the public at large or it will have no power for good. Our appeal is to the people.
