MAYOR MICHELLE TAIT

Mayor Tait was elected to her first term in 2018. The Mayor serves as a Chair of the City Council and only votes in case of a tie. Also, the Mayor serves on the Weber Area Council of Governments in addition to various other entities and committees.

REGISTRATION FEES

Baseball and Softball: $40.00 (includes hat and shirt)

LEAGUES AND DIVISIONS 

Players should register for their current school year. Child must be 5 years old by September 1st of the current year.

T-Ball - Most T-Ball players are currently in Kindergarten or will be starting in August. T-Ball is co-ed. Soft baseballs are used and score is not kept.

Coach Pitch - 1st and 2nd grade girls, and 1st and 2nd grade boys. This division is co-ed. Soft baseballs are used and score is not kept.

Machine Pitch - There will no longer be a 3rd grade machine pitch division.  3rd/4th grades will be combined, and play according to the 4th grade rules.

Girls Softball - Grades will be combined as follows:  3rd/4th, 5th/6th, 7th, 8th, 9th.

Boys Baseball - Grades will be combined as follows:  3rd/4th, 5th/6th, 7th, 8th, 9th

SEASON AND PRACTICE DATES

Game play typically begins the 1st week in May. Game play typically ends the 4th week in June. Practices typically begin the 3rd week in April (weather permitting). Coaches should reserve a field for practice by contacting the Parks & Recreation Director at bfife@cityofharrisville.com. If a field is not reserved through the City, use of the fields are first come first serve basis for public and City sponsored activities.

Ages 12 and up need a fishing license (except on free fishing day). Catch and released is not required, but most released fish do not survive. Rainbow trout are stocked about four times a year. The park closes at 10:00 pm. 

Limit of fish: 4
