Parents in Harrisville will have one more schooling option for their children in 2015. GreenWood Charter School had their groundbreaking ceremony on February14, 2015. Enthusiastic parents and teachers gathered for fun and friendship. Activities included making bird feeders and 2 liter seed greenhouses.  GreenWood touts the honor of being the first holistic school in the state of Utah. “GreenWood, the first school in Utah to focus on a holistic education, is a free public charter school serving grades K-6. The school is founded by local parents, professionals, and health educators who all share a passion for helping children succeed in all areas of life. On April 3rd, 2014 the Utah State Board of Education approved GreenWood's charter. The school is set to open August 19, 2015.”

Masters of None provided great music at the ceremony and the new GreenWood T-shirts were up for sale and sported by happy parents and children. The school is excited for the New Year and is looking for volunteers.
