Census 2020 What is a census and why is it important? Once a decade, America comes together to count every resident in the United States.  Why Is the Census Important? Participating in the census is in everyone's best interest, because the information on the forms is used by decision-makers to determine which communities, schools, hospitals and roads need federal funding. Your response matters. Health clinics. Fire departments. Schools. Even roads and highways. The census can shape many different aspects of your community. Please respond to Census requests.  For more information check out  https://2020census.gov/

Dog Licenses Dog licenses are now overdue and a $5.00 late fee has been added to the cost of the license. Please contact us if you no longer have a dog or the dog has passed away so we can remove them from our list. Willard Ordinance allows a maximum of 3 dogs per residence. All dogs must be licensed and the tag must be on dog so if they are caught running at large they can be returned home and not taken to doggy jail.

Business Licenses Business license also expired on December 31, 2019 and late fees have been added. If you are no longer in business please contact the Willard City Offices so it can be removed from our list.

Are you ready for an emergency? If you were without gas, water or electricity overnight do you have a plan? Winging it is not a plan.  The Citizen Emergency Response Team training is a great way to prepare you for emergencies in your home and in the community. The classes offer training on incidents like utilities being unavailable for an extended period to natural disasters and how you can be prepared to take care of yourself and your family. The classes will be held at the Willard City Offices on March 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, 14. The evening classes will be held from 6:00 pm- 9:30 pm and the Saturday classes from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Cost for class is $10.00. For more details or to sign up call/text Sue Anderson at 801-589-8270 or you can sign up at the Willard City Offices 435-734-9881.
