Glenn Beck and Mercury One partner with Huntsman Cancer Foundation at 5K Race

DALLAS---Glenn Beck and Mercury One partner with the Huntsman Cancer Foundation through Walk for Hope––a fun, family-friendly 5K walk/run on Saturday, July 6. The race will raise awareness for the Huntsman Cancer Foundation and mark Mercury One’s second annual “Day of Service” in which they give back to the community.

Mercury One has partnered with the Huntsman Cancer Foundation because we share similar missions: to inspire, organize and mobilize individuals to improve the human condition physically, emotionally and spiritually with malice towards none and charity for all. Huntsman Cancer Foundation reflects this mission through continuing cancer research, improving cancer treatments for patients and providing education about cancer risks and prevention.

Though the main event will be a run/walk, the entire park will be open for the event’s festivities. Spectators can enjoy music, food, photo opportunities and park rides such as the Ferris wheel, old-fashioned carousel, paddle boats and bumper cars while they support the work of the Huntsman Cancer Foundation. All of the rides will be free of charge.

Registration for Walk for Hope is online now at www.walkforhopenow.com Those who register in groups of five or more are $15 per participant and those who register individually are $25 so families and teams are encouraged. Participants will receive a Walk for Hope t-shirt in their registration packets for pick up at the Grand America Hotel on July 5 or the day of the race at Liberty Park on July 6.
