On August 2, Mayor Dickemore introduced Chief Paul Sullivan to the city, Chief Sullivan is the New Weber Fire District Chief.

Boyd Ferrin said that the seven small pavilions were delivered, and are being installed. Boyd also reported that the tables for the Fishing Pond Bowery were also delivered and will be set up soon. Boyd also commented many people are fishing and using the park. Boyd stated that an official opening will occur in September.

We have a few new business to tell you about in Farr West.  Jordan Grange & Addison Jayne are starting an online retail store.

 Warm Springs Canal Safety Piping Project is being started by the end of August by Marriott Construction. The bid approval for Marriot Construction at $74,935.44.

We see the approval of the re-zoning of the Timothy & Krista Stettler Property and Happy Days Property.

We have an approval of Planning Commission Chairman Ted Black and Vice Chair Lyle Earl.

Council members take on different roles to report on each month.

David Jay reported he will be working with the Planning Commission on the General Plan, also reported on weed complaints. 

Ken Phippen reported on the council chamber upgrade. 

 Tom Burkland reported on the joint work session with Pleasant View. Tom also asked what is being done to fix the broken guard rail. There was a discussion on the broken guard rail and options of how to get it fixed. Tom also commented it is beneficial to have the maps of the city hung around the city office building. 

Matt Gwynn reported on the Weber Fire District meeting. Matt also reported on the Fishing Club; he is looking for five volunteers and hoping for 25 participants. Matt also asked that work for a formal RFP for a generator begin. 

Mayor Dickemore reported on the WACOG meeting. He also reported a meeting with SWAT soccer will be held concerning renting the fields. The mayor also reported on the Bona Vista meeting.
