JOIN SENATOR LEE AND GENERAL BURTON IN A SPECIAL UPCOMING TRIBUTE HONORING UTAHS FALLEN HOSTED BY THE MILITARY & VETERAN COUNSELING CENTER.

As Memorial Day approaches preparations are being made for an exclusive memorial event Friday, May 27th 2016 AT 7.00 PM.  The Military & Veteran Counseling Center is hosting Honoring Utah’s Fallen.  Families of lost service members will finish assembling Utah’s first monument consisting of 732 “dog tags” engraved with the names of every fallen Utah service member from the Korean conflict to present.   MVCC is looking for members of the community and organizations that are interested in attending or participating to register for a free ticket to honor the families and celebrate the lives of those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in laying down their life for our country. Seating is limited and projected to sell out.

Speakers include Utah's Senator Mike Lee, Adjutant General, Maj Gen Burton and Director and trauma therapist of MVCC Melanie Squire.

Family Members of fallen service members are encouraged to contact MVCC to be able to individually participate in the event where pictures are being compiled for a tribute video and family members will be able to personally place a replicated dog tag of their lost one onto the memorial.
